Presentation:
Maria Pasiali – Psoma was born in Piraeus, Attica, and at the age of 6 she moved to the United States of America, where she grew up, studied and was trained in medicine, at the University of Minnesota.
She began her career at Mayo Clinic by training in 2 specialties, Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology, where she was eventually employed as anesthesiologist.
In 1995 she decided to return to Greece due to family obligations while maintaining a contract with the Mayo Clinic that allows her to work in the United States for 2-3 months a year.
In Greece, she works as anesthesiologist at Hygeia Hospital, Iaso Hospital, Mitera Hospital, Henry Dunant Hospital Center, and others, alongside great surgeons of all specialties, on a wide variety of cases. At the same time she treats patients for chronic pain associated with various conditions.
